Lazy Susan for kitchen table

I had a small kitchen table that was perfect for myself and my kids, and I found a wooden lazy susan that I decided would be perfect for holding salt pepper and other condiments.  I love daisies and painted them on it.  Later on I decided to paint the same daisies on rocks so here are a picture of these.

Recipe box

I love to cook and collect recipes.  Any time I get a new cookbook I read it cover to cover as I would a novel.  I had a normal size recipe box that got so jammed up that the recipes would rip when I tried to pull one out.  I found this wooden double recipe box and decided to paint it with flowers. I took close up pictures of the top and front so you can see it.  Now 15 years later this recipe box is getting crowded. 

Painting my Daughter's bed

When my daughter Megan was about 5 she got a big girls bed.  I found the bed at a thrift shop and it had been painted many times and was an awful color.  I took her to paint store and had her pick out the color she wanted which was a pale pink.  The bed had 2 cupboard and 2 drawers on either side of the cupboards.  I bought new knobs for the drawers and cupboard, and painted some daisies on them.  She is now 23 but the memories will always last.
